Bob’s English Academy in Tokyo has announced that 14 of its students will be taking the Eiken Test in October. The school is known for its excellent English teaching, and last time had a 100% pass rate.
Bob’s English Academy, a Japanese school for learning English in Tokyo, has announced that 14 of its students will be taking the Eiken exam on 6th October. This is one of the world’s most widely administered language tests for English proficiency.
For more information please visit the website here: http://bea.co.jp/Eng_index.html
The students taking the Eiken exam will be tested in four key areas, with a compulsory speaking test forming part of the examination.
Students will also go through a series of tests to ascertain their level of receptive and productive skills. The first exam is a written exam, and the secondary exam is a speaking and interview exam, so the children go through a full range of tests to prove their skills in English.
The participating students are studying at the BEA once per week, and participating in trial exams twice a week. They can take trial tests based on past Eiken Tests Free of charge, and all the students are working hard to pass the exam.
It is usually the case that if the student passes the primary exam, they will always pass the secondary exam, because the usual classes at the BEA are similar to the Eiken Tests.
At the previous Eiken exam, 18 students from Bob’s English Academy took the exam and there was a 100% pass rate. The school has a reputation for excellence when it comes to teaching English, and this is proven in their Eiken Test results.
Bob’s English Academy is now on summer vacation, and will be undergoing routine maintenance during the break. This will include replacing classroom equipment, painting the classrooms, and updating the computers.
In a move to help children enjoy English conversation more freely, one of the classrooms will be having existing tables removed and round tables added to promote better conversation.
The school is also open to anyone looking to learn English ahead of the Tokyo Olympics wishing to become an interpreter guide.
